Welcome to the 3rd instalment of our new Design 101 Feature!

This week, our mondo merchandiser, Ashlee-Ann Johnson, brought the new Sydney Collection to both of our showrooms. In the South Store, she styled it Rustic Modern with warm tones and textured mixes inspired by our aviator accessories and reminiscent of the Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose era. Having said that, here are her top three motivations for choosing the pieces she did:

#1 She wanted to keep it more rustic than modern to highlight the reclaimed finish of the collection.

#2 To keep it looking too rustic, she kept her accessories in nice clean reps of three.

#3 She was excited to find the perfect setting for our propeller and model plane accessories.

Tune in next week to find out how she styled the same collection in a completely different way in our CrossIron Mills location.
